They pronounce it Coburn. I keep trying to tell everyone you can't have a silent "ck", it's cockburn but they won't have a  burning bar of it.

I've had that before.

The antibiotics cleared it up thankfully.

Looks like Clubs (including ours) will be in a better position to start serious consideration of potential pay offers around the end of July:   Players' CBA possible by end of July: AFL

Jack VIney could have gotten more money waiting til then. Maybe he sacrificed a chunk of cash on his first big contract to help keep everyone at the club

Wouldn't put it past him

I was just about to post this….. wonder if it will fast track a deal?

Keep winning games and developing this culture we are seeing. That's our best opportunity to retain Hogan. Not to mention a fair bit of soldi.

Perth?

Geez Hoges would've been basking in one stunning day if he was here for it. I dare say even Ethan would begrudgingly acknowledge it.

this is true, provided we do actually receive that 'remarkable' thing in return

I actually don't think 2 x picks in the top 5 would do it for me

although if it's Oliver + Petracca you can live with it, maybe

again I'll say though Hogan is a much rarer commodity than even the greatest midfielders

Don't forget that sides have won flags with key position forwards of the likes of Barry Hall, Quentin Lynch, and Adam Hunter, Chris Dawes, and Travis Cloke. Its all about the midfield and forward 50 pressure.

This saga just cannot go on for a long period. All the press and media hype on it has to affect Jesse and his performance on the field. It also has to affect his team mates. His manager has a duty to Jesse to have this resolved asap. I think Jesse may sign on with us for 4-5 years with a team that is on the up, which gives him plenty of time left in his career to move back to the west at the age of 25-26. Given all the hype, we may get a surprise that a decision happens sooner rather than later as both Jesse and the Club cannot have all this constant conjecture continuing. It is destabilising for everyone. Wiser heads hopefully prevail.

All the conjecture had a huge impact on Dangerfield last year.......

Yes, but have you got a giant ferris wheel overlooking an industrial area?

Yeah it can . Get over it, He is contracted to the end of 2017.

Take a Bex and have a good lie down.

Interesting article in the Herald Sun this morning - Scott Cummings and Glenn Jakovich stating that the constant travel took a year or two off their careers. Jakovivch talked about a couple of players who started at the same time as him getting two extra years through not travelling as much as they were Melbourne based. Both said that the travel burden was less than ideal on their bodies and the article referenced Jesse's back stress fractures. Scott Cummings suggested that if Jesse was to move he would need to have a "business class" travel clause in his contract.

I know lachie neales family, speak to his step dad and mother frequently. He isn't leaving freo. Freo have looked after him terrific and he has no intentions to leave.

I don't think his family would blab out the truth unless the recipient is one of the closest confidants of the family. We did hear a lot of  crap and disinformation  coming out of the Scully camp.  If Neale is intent on leaving I doubt he might fit our requirements if Brayshaw, Petracca and Oliver continue  to improve.  Freo will put a high price on him even if they are desperate to secure Hogan. There is the possibility of a three or four club super deal where someone like Hurley may come into the picture if Hogan decides to leave.

I have gotten disapproving looks and comments from my school teacher mother in law and wife when I drive past there as say it like it is. Looks like a place Colonwood supporters will feel comfortable in.

I know a Treblecock  (trebilco) and a Glasscock (glasco)

My all time favorite is the daughter of Mr Cos Sita (Bus company owner) her name is Pina. TRUE.

School boy humour anyone?

My mate calls me two-diks as he is adamant that I couldn't be that stupid with just one.

I did the school boy giggle every time i heard the head of WADA's name mentioned -  Dick Pound

Same article actually says that the Herald Sun believe that Hogan wants to stay in Melbourne.  The hard copy does anyway for anyone that has a copy of the paper.  I note that bit isn't on the online article though.
