The frustration that I have had with the media is more about the mental health side of things and that it feels like they pick and choose when they will respect boundaries and their right to privacy.

For me Clarry and Petracca were prime cases where two human beings clearly going through difficult/traumatic times and despite them and the club asking for space and respect, the papers end up plastering them on the front page and pushing pure speculation and drama. Feels like the play favourites on who they will give space to.

He may be. I think it's been dredged up that he was in the crowd supporting us in 2008 the day we won after trailing Freo at half time by 9 or 10 goals. It did look like him.

Nothing to do with the story above but I have to laugh at the NRL in what is a very regular occurrence i.e. players behaving badly. The NRL take four teams to Vegas ever year now to try and earn more money and prestige. A few days ago 2 players were involved in a fight. Within the same team! It seems the NRL has this constant problem of boys behaving badly. Sydney ruffians I guess.

...and two teammates fighting on a night out never happens in the AFL does it?

Oh there’s no doubt he’s a Melbourne supporter and it’s true he’s attended many of our matches, just like any other Melbourne supporter. But he indulges in the negative reporting of our club seemingly with glee. Not to mention (during his time at the club) leaks to the media that had his grubby paw prints all over them.

I hafta agree. A good footy journo can't protect the team they love at all costs  But if a hypothetical journalist were to go out of their way to s***-stir with sensationalist or dubious stories solely for ratings and the betterment of their career they deserve all the contempt they get!

There was that weird film, Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, where one could have all the memories erased of a failed relationship. Honestly if I could I'd just about have all my memories of Melbourne from 2007-2017 erased AND, despite what some Demon supporters would assert, definitely would NOT want the last three years erased.
