GAMEDAY: Match SIM vs North Melbourne
You're an absolute gem and a credit to our club GW. Such a lovely story. Have they come down from Alice? And are they from Arrente country up there? It's so important our club looks after these young kids and creates an atmosphere and culture that has them thriving and hopefully wanting to stick fat with us.

Rugba League is Numba one
NRL has just announced it's KPIs for 2024. NRL 2024 season by numbers Attendances – total: $4.79m - up 3.8% TV viewership – total: $200.5m - up 8.6% Participation – total: $1.03m - up 20.6% Asset value – total: $322.4m - up 24% Pretty impressive numbers and claiming to be the number one sport in the country now. I don't find that many of my friends who watch sports but are not following an AFL club bother to watch any AFL matches these days. Can't say I really enjoy "being activated" at AFL footy matches much any more either. I wonder if the AFL may head into a bit of a ARU slide over the next decade?

Kozzy Homesick & Wants to Leave?
This is almost a copy and paste of the Oliver thread in some ways. He's playing with us this season. My only concern is how well he and the side play and how deep we go into the finals. The media are just muck raking again. BT will be mentioning three times in every one of the games we play this year. It's all conjecture and rubbish. Very interested to see Koz go through the midfield more often and to see how our game plan has transformed. Go Dees. Hope Clarry, Tracc and Koz just tear it up on the field this year.

Ed Langdon the (Inside) Midfielder
The article also mentions that Max Viney is helping all players with tackling technique this year... Jiu Jitsu and grappling Jack has transformed his tackling from multiple suspensions into a wonderful "drag the to the ground locking one arm up as he does it technique". Kosi has really pulled back on his aggression. The last suspension was ridiculous as Moore slid low with his legs. I reckon this will be awesome for Kosi and the whole team. Absolutely stoked and I don't understand why it hasn't been done sooner.

Farewell Adam Tomlinson
Being interstate, I don't see too many live games, but the few I have over the last two years, my wife points out how terribly he even walks on the field. Like his gait is really impeded and he's looking sore every time we see him play. He's been a great leader for us on the field but yeah, I think the young fellas have a step on him now.

Kozzy Homesick & Wants to Leave?
No matter what happens, I just hope he stays in a good head space while he's with us and doesn't become a passenger. Training reports seem to show he's going hard He's vitally important for us. I'd put him in our top six. I love watching him play. We probably need to get better at poaching from other clubs. Probably need to get another flag to help doing that too.

Farewell Adam Tomlinson
I kinda feel like this may be Maysies last year anywhere. I think he's lost that closing speed and he just doesn't seem to move that freely anymore. I'm glad it looks like Petty is going to play back, but yep we'll probably need to keep rebuilding our backline over the next couple of years. Hope Tommo gets the permanent spot he worked so hard for with us. He deserves it.

PRESEASON TRAINING: Wednesday 29th January 2025
I think it's a great idea getting Windsor running off half back. Salem has not been quite as effective the last two years and without Gus, we need a fast rebounder who can get through the traffic and deliver well. He's the dude.

Dees being seriously underrated
Spot on @Earl Hood the game has transformed since our premiership. The cattle are good, how well they move together will be the big question. And of course injuries. But I feel we've got better options now if we lose the likes of May, Lever or Gawn.
