It was round 2 2023 on a Friday night and the good news that it wasn't serious came through on Sunday afternoon. I only remember because the news came through during the last qtr of the Casey game and everyone in the crowd was talking about it.

He wasn't there, he looked to be tracking well last week. I'll check on Wednesday.

The rehab group today was Spargo, Trac, Fullarton & Melksham. Lever & McAdam back in full training. There was no Windsor. Tholstrup was doing simple stretching.

Sam Darcy was drafted in 2021, he only just started coming on last season so it's taken him a few years to get to the level.

In terms of injuries we're looking pretty good. Trac, Chin, McAdam & Fullarton are all due back to full training over the next couple of weeks and all of them have been able to run so they haven't lost their fitness base. Not sure about Lever as he trained fully last week and now running laps again. Windsor may have just had a day off, he trained fully last week and was fine. The ones that definitely won't make round one are Tholstrup, Kentfield and Spargo. Question marks on Lever & Melksham.

Correct Chook, I was there for about 45 min, Roy and McAdam were both extremely lively up forward. Roy kicked 3 goals in the match sim That I saw. Clarry was in everything again.

I noticed Joel Selwood was watching on upstairs with Alan Richardson, I thought that was interesting given reports a couple of months ago we were trying to get him to the club.

I dropped past as I was in the area, they were about to start an intra club with official AFL umpires. There looked to be a few Casey players to make up the numbers, unfortunately I couldn't hang around to watch as I had to get going. I was hoping somebody else could fill us in but I'm not holding my breath as I didn't see anyone else watching on.

Disappointing but he'll be back running in a few weeks and still plenty of time until round 1. He'll be fine.

I've been told that training is tomorrow (Friday) at 10am so I'm a bit confused now.

I'm keen to get along to Casey tomorrow but concerned Goody will become increasingly agitated with me peaking through the fence.

Really looking forward to seeing X Man Lindsay in full training, I reckon he'll turn a few heads.
