People who are by most standards enthusiastic fans and members dream up reasons to miss going to Marvel too concretish can you believe Playing certain teams at our HOME GROUND the weather below say 14 degrees the travel etc. Whilst a section of fans are so pathetic plus of course if we play a bad game or lose 2 in a row. Do don’t complain when the opposition or media point this out. Just harden up and enjoy the experience as we win more than 2 out of 3 at Marvel now. Under the roof is just another different experience to be on cold or rainy days. The football is usually faster and not affected by the wind so more skilful and enjoyable. Ie positive thoughts not negative. And GW is it any wonder you are flummoxed by transport in the North Melbourne area voluntarily walking 15 minutes to a ground where the station is a Rooy punt away almost attached to the same buildings. (Next you will be telling us you carry out the banner by yourself. ) So Dees fans examine your habits and it’s no longer surprising that the 16/17,000 crowds at Port and GWS AT THE G at least one we still had a chance of making the Finals. I believe we should have looked at Boyd instead of Marty Hore more seriously however am very happy we have got Campbell AJ Harvey XL Sharp and now Henderson plus Culley now. Two rucks both forwards of sorts two versatile smalls who have class and finish well Two of the best young players on the AFL who are multi talented and 200 game prospects for our midfield and attacking roles and a tough big bodied mid to add depth and grunt to our stars already and newbies developing in the midfield. I reckon our seven players here are real honest from the heart types who will not be far from their best each match. very valuable last 3/4 days including a boost in morale on Sat with eleven probables out and still a good even effort in extreme heat with their fitness supremely important in the final analysis.

No forward or half back not mid field . Some doubt his tank I think that’s not a real issue as we can generally control that if any effects are apparent in last quarters depending upon the situation. Thats AMW in any case so unfortunately it’s problematical any way.

And the ones that stated pointing the bone at the website are in effect criticising paid employees that work completely differently to the opinions of some amateurs. Two ridiculous cheap shots this week were no Henderson recognition of Dees selecting for about 24 hours. Secondly was the delay in information on the Casey match after the AFL Match and simulation on the website. MFC generally is not the major news source for the Casey matches however today when the match times were changed due to the expected extreme heat this was followed up with mention of the Casey match afterwards. Pointedly was information of the train and tram details from a station allied with the tram no. As the best to get to Arden St plus match details the lack of shade etc. Demonland got confused the station and no tram and although I lived in Melbourne for over 40 years from 1948 the station/s and tram would not have altered in my nearly 77 years. Arden St has not moved either in 70 odd years. My only criticism of the website is that the headline for the North AFL match could have been about the time commencement change from 11AM to 10AM. That is the role of the website ( like bringing interviews and articles about players and correct and reliable advice on match times transport ) DLand is a discussion and opinion forum with variety of posts but not necessarily the detailed official information. These players are on our list and despite your misgivings ruling each out for different reason the underserved a chance up play in that position. AMW should be tried so should Pup and if not up to it genuinely after a fair go then others can ve given an opportunity. Henderson now is a real chance. If AMW has had a full pre season he should have the ability to play HFF ( not a mid role where a full tank is needed).
