  1. I definitely agree that Culley is worth the pick. He’s big, strong, keen and a left footer.
  2. He does feel like a younger version of Dunstan.
  3. Who goes out
  4. Zac Butters goes alright
  5. Calm the farm…..they played a side that’s best player is a 32 year old full forward with a bung foot. Richmond are bunnies, they’ll be lucky to win a game and will get belted week in week out.
  6. The draft needs to lose all the concessions. Academies should be AFL run and not club run. Every player should go to the draft. Grassroots footy is the AFL’s responsibility. New teams should get agreed picks and trades over an agreed number of years and then play with the big boys. The fact GC get so many concessions still just shows why they shouldn’t exist.
  7. Jai will most likely play at Casey. We all hope that won’t be the case but the odds point there. Feels like he’s fighting for Sparrows spot which is also uncertain.
  8. TDK…..whatever it takes needs to be our motto
  9. And then plenty more. He’s perfect for us.
  10. I’d be interested in a league wide injury list. Feels like it’d be substantial
  11. We’ll change that
  12. In that video against the Saints. Did he do his ACL and then go back and kick the goal? He looked handy and a great size with a nice left foot.
  13. You just keep telling yourself that. It’s a soulless šŸ’©hole by anyone’s standard.
  14. Thumped us badly is an ever so slight exaggeration of what occurred
  15. It’s the perfect opponent for us to face prior to the season. They flogged us last year and we’ve made some adjustments and added quality to our list. We don’t have to win but we don’t want to get blown away a week out from the season. I want us to beat them in the middle and give our forwards half a chance.
  16. Just goes to show how bad we were last year. Given we won 11 games with a tougher draw, a half strength Oliver, no Petracca after KB and May and Lever having injury impacted seasons. Thats why I’m so bullish this year. At the end of this season it’s not unrealistic to expect Gawn, Petracca, Oliver, May and potentially Fritsch to be in the top 50. Add the next gen and we’re good to go.
  17. He’s a big lad
  18. Henderson may get a run in the last quarter
  19. Bugger, this was my chance to go and report.
  20. If you’ve got a big interchange bench which I imagine they do then play him for a quarter. It’s a golden opportunity for him to meet his new teammates. šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø
  21. Bowey did his shoulder that game
  22. So now he's on our list is he purely an inside mid? What's his kicking like? Does he drift forward? Could he force his way past Sparrow as that seems the obvious spot for him? Do we see him being good enough to force his way into the side or is he purely waiting for a few injuries? Is he another talented footballer who's too good for VFL but not quite good enough for AFL? What's his biggest strength besides being built like a bull?
  23. I just think George has the most upside. For mine it comes down to his attitude and his desire to make it. Will he work to get the very best out of himself. If the answer is yes then I'd pick him. You know what you're getting with Culley.

George for me, purely speculating on his ability and his desire to make it
