Dee tention

Surely Jai Culley gets a list spot with McAdam injury. I can definitely see him playing regularly in the best side. Great opportunity and story it would be for him. He adds grunt and size to the midfield rotation and can swing forward. I thing there a big things ahead for Culley…! Unfortunate for McAdam…

Does anybody have any intel on who the Dees will select at Pick 2…? or who are the likely Top 5 prospects available to us…?

Dees will be picking best Defender and a Midfielder… Pick 5 Alix Tearu Pick 9 Murphy Reid/Bo Allan If Jagga Smith slides to Pick 5 we will be taking him. Then best defender at Pick 9.

Inside source on Jefferson and the likely hood we will be picking a defender with one of our picks. It is my gut feel on the Picks. I’m hoping for Smith. I think he will give us a more balanced and explosive midfield… His ball winning ability at centre clearances and stoppages will go a long way to us putting wins on the board. If Smith is gone, I would like us to take The Flying Viking at Pick 5 if he ain’t gone already. And best midfielder available at Pick 9…

Dees will take best available at Pick 5 which is most likely a mid, I’m thinking Langford or Smith here. Pick 9 to be used on best available key defender. It would be no surprise if we take Trainor here. The word is Jefferson is coming along and will be ready for senior footy in 2025. Smith and Trainor is my guy feel.

Sounds like Petty is keen to go. I’m happy to keep him to his contract because he is a very good player and is important to our structure. However, his foot is a concern long term. Dees should be asking for Pick 10, 14 and Gollant at a minimum. or Pick 10, Adelaide F1 and Gollant. These additional picks would help net us Pick 1 from West Toast I would think… Or move down the order and nab Norths Pick 3 as well as keeping Pick 6.

Petty to Crows rumoured for 10, 20 and McAdam. If Petty is keen; I would ask for 10, Fogarty or Tilthorpe and McAdam Adelaide would receive Petty and a 2nd round pick from the Dees.

I believe the Dees are certainly after Reid. However, I do think there is more to it in trading Clarry. It will free up salary cap space to chase another one or two key players. I think the Dees have more in store this trade period.

I’m hoping Flynn goes to West Coast and Bailey Williams asks to go to the Dee Dee Demons…

I am a James Harmes fan with what he sacrifices and brings to the team. I rate him highly as a defensive mid and he is probably the best in the comp at this role. It is what the team craves… As for Simon Godwin’s coaching. It carry questionable and average at best.

Bailey Williams should be a Priority for the Dees. 23yr and can play Ruck and Forward. Has his best football in front of him. Williams, McAdam would be a great start. Fergus Greene or similar would be a good get to push for a Forward position. I’m disappointed to see Harmes go. I believe he is in our best 22 when playing his correct role. That is Defensive Mid who can win his own ball. I am of the opinion he is the type of player we need. I can see Yze taking him to the Tigers…
