  1. Win games and he will sign. Pretty simple really.
  2. Meandering= 1 page. We are now into 3 pages of taking about Selwood and Cotchin in a thread marked, 'Clayton Oliver'.
  3. People hate the truth. They would rather hide in the shadows of fiction, it makes them feel better. Bravo Stuie.
  4. If i wasn't requested by the bosses to not post any GIFS for a while, i'd post one of a standing ovation. Since that is the case, i'll just keep it old skool and say: BRAVO!
  5. That is pretty much the human equivalent of a lion taking down an antelope.
  6. Being a tragic and watching his highlights again. One thing i noticed was how good he is on both sides of his body, which is HUGE for a key forward (or any player for that matter). He is naturally a right footer, but watch below how many times he uses his left, and is very damaging on it. Not scared of a contest either, and unlike a certain key-forward we have: HE CAN TAKE A MARK! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m85oFgcFdsA
  7. Doesn't surprise me. Have said on this many times, i am not yet sold on ANB. Yes i know he popped up and kicked multiple goals etc. but for some reason he just reminds me of a Bail, or a Pickles. Almost there, but never quite enough. Anyhow, happily to be proven very wrong, (or very right--although not happy with this) later down the track.
  8. UFC

13 seconds. hope it was worth the wait!
  9. depends if it was wet or dry. Stories be told that he is pretty good on water/in the wet.
  10. I was on the Parish train. just hope this doesn't bite us in the butt...again.
  11. with those hands, and that desire? Thank god you don't post on here very often.
  12. i actually just went to Footy Wire to compare their stats in regards to averages that are related to the inside mid role, i.e contested possession etc. Both players have played 50 games, pretty much- Viney 49, Tyson 50. And Their stats are actually almost identical with each player "one uping" here and there by a decimal point. So to be honest as much as i like to argue the point, i think i will have to call it a draw. They are both as good as an inside mid as one another.
  13. very very happy with this pick. Great bravery combined with an excellent set of hands and a bit of see you next tuesday about him.
  14. Nixe Oliver comment on Facebook. But he won that round.
  15. i know. But Parish has been elite in the TAC cup for two years now. Oliver, has popped up mid year. To be honest i'd be happy with either, just would kill me if we missed on Parish and he ends up being AFL elite. That being said, my mate from the falcons reckons that Matheson is the smoky of the draft and could slip late. Said he is a weapon and Fyfe like. When he played as 23rd man in the VFL he was only allowed to play half a game (their ruling) and had 17 disposals and 11 centre clearances playing as a 17 year old in the guts. BEAST.
  16. ahah that's my mate who made that comment.
  17. Passing up on a kid (Parish) who has been in the All Australian side twice, both as a bottom age and a top age. Has won or been nominated for virtually every award a junior footballer can win, or be nominated for. Excellent skills, decision making, calmness, attack, and hunger. Plays both inside and out. Averaged 129 SC points this season, if you value that. Can kick goals, can hit targets inside 50, does bring others into the game and is described by all as a NATURAL footballer. Something we have been crying out for for decades. If we pass up on Parish fine, but i hope we bloody know what we are doing if we do. Happy to be held accountable on here if Parish succeeds/fails.
