  1. ah yes but you need some "Official" help like the Panthers got, still fuming about the VAR decision on "that" try
  2. Surely this needs a "Please explain" from the AFL

Whether young or old, I never like to see season ending injuries, but this being Carlton (and the AFL's darlings), they may get the SSP extended and that might be good for us, considering the possibility of losing AMW for the year

We all know the answer to that

Are we playing down there again this year?? (sarcasm Face)

It's been a problem for as long as I have been a premium member, I admit I sometimes pass on a spare ticket for oppo supporters to sit with me for the game, but I stress they need to dress in neutral clothes and respect where they are, and my friends always comply. And the people around me know their allegence but are very accepting because my friends behave themselves.

They still manage to infiltrate the Redlegs and Trident areas, problem is we lose these games and they get lippy. Need to win and then we can send them packing.
  8. I was there, and I believe we won, I went out with 7999 others and had a kick on the ground after the game, I couldn't how rock hard the surface was.
  9. I went to a Melb v GWS game at Docklands and there were 8,000 people there.
  10. Realism is over rated
  11. Sorry how is that relevant? So you pay your membership and then its ok to be a defeatist? C'Mon post something positive, it's gunna be a fun season, we have Lindsay and Langford to watch. Trac and Clarrry look primed and keen, what's not to love?
  12. Boy. I Love an Optimist. Pfft why even get up in the morning. May as well start looking at the draft 2026
  13. That's an interesting question, I believe for starters you get a seat closer to the wing, (which is preferable), and I believe you also get invited to Premium member events that Redlegs don't get. But I think the people I know that are Tridents, believe it's an extra to give to the club ( a bit like a pledge), (Their choice). But my point is compared to other MCG members from other teams, we get a pretty good deal.
  14. Boy Nth kick 17 goals 10 and get beaten by 10 goals +. Also I didn't see 1 Melb goal come from the result of a free kick, I wonder if a team has kicked 25 plus goals before with no goals from frees
  15. Article in "The Age" which I must admit I cannot access due to the paywall https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/is-your-membership-good-value-we-count-the-cost-of-joining-an-afl-club-in-2025-20241218-p5kzdn.html But it got me thinking how much value does my membership give me: I am a Redleg member which costs me $650 PA. For this I get Reserved seats on the 1st Level Shane Warne Stand Access to 2 Corporate rooms Ryder and Hassett, (which incudes Full strength beer at night games and Sundays) Guaranteed Option to buy GF tickets if the Dees make it Guaranteed final tickets of all games the Dees play in. Cup holders in my seat. Above head TV's The chance to enjoy every home game with my regular friends and like thinking Dees fans. I have invited guests to this area, One Bomber fan, One Lions fan and One Magpie fiend (sic) and they are blown away at the value, and say it is so much better than anything their teams provide for a lesser fee) Thank You MFC
